Mechanics of flight
I lost the bet
Now I find myself alone
The deck was stacked
My intentions thwarted
This is still it
Where do you sleep
When your heart is trampled
How can you recover
If caring seems to cease
Perhaps I am a dinosaur
Scavenging the ground
For morsels of passion and lust
But I can't breathe
I took on too much weight
Still I have feathers
I will lift it all up
before I tumble down
